Myers has been married to actress and comedy writer Robin Ruzan since the late 1980s; they met at an ice hockey game in Chicago. The couple got married in May 1993 and like many other celebrity couples, they also parted ways in December 2005. He began dating Kelly Tisdale in 2006.

Early Life
Michael Myers was born on the 25th of May 1963, in Scarborough, Ontario. His father was Eric Myers an insurance agent and his mother Alice ‘Bunny’ E. Myers, was an office supervisor, and royal Air Force, veteran.
They had emigrated from Liverpool, England to Canada. Mike also has two elder brothers; the firstborn being Paul and the second born Peter. His parents reside in the suburban Toronto area he began his education in Macdonald Collegiate Institute and graduated in Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute in the year 1982.
Career
Myers was starting a commercial acting career at the age of two. At the age of ten he performed in advertisement for the British Columbia Hydro together with Gilda Radner. He left high school to join the Second City Canadian touring company as soon as he was finished.
Later he went to the United Kingdom and was a member of the comedy improvisational theatre troupe known as The Comedy Store Players. At about the same time, Mike has been invited to appear in the British children show “Wide Awake Club” together with comedian Neil Mullarkey.
Even though Gere worked in serious drama, one of the few times was in the 1998 movie “54”. While it was not financially or critically successful, Mike got the appreciation for his endeavors. He also appeared as the lead in the 2022 Netflix series in “The Pentaverate”.
Myers has been honored with numerous awards which include seven MTV movie awards an Emmy award and two Canadian comedy awards.
