She is a former basketball player, and a successful professional on her own, which makes her the ideal wife, girlfriend, or spouse for many charismatic sports stars, as she has the same background and is a supporter and an active participant.
Early Life
Mary Beth Lycett raised in Georgia where she has intricate passion for sporting activities right from her childhood. she started developing traits of a sports personality during her high school year at Morrow high school especially in basketball. The gifted and talented player also showcased organizational ability, discipline and leadership that are often associated with her later years of life.
For her four-year high school experience, Lycett became one of the most outstanding basketball stars in Georgia and received many awards, and interested college coaches. She was a good student for class work as for the sports activities and she knew how important it was to study after training.
Career
Lycett life as a basketball player advanced to another level when he joined the university of Georgia to play for the Lady Bulldogs for four years between 1999 and 2003, where she was a guard. With the team she displayed her talent as a player as well as the ability to fully immerse and manage a team.
One of her best performances came in her final year she began all 31 games that was her rating in the three-point field goals category. Since her husband landed the post of the head football coach at their university in Athens-Georgia, she has become a more prominent figure there.
She has assumed the role of charitable Founder and Community serving the university and local community either alone or in conjunction with her husband.

Kirby Smart is Mary Beth’s husband, making their union a perfect match for both of them are extremely connected to the University of Georgia as well as greatly familiar with the concept of collegiate sports. Current college football coach and one of the game’s most successful strategists.
Kirby Smart fell in love with Mary Beth while they were studying together in the University of Georgia but got together only years later. The meteoric rise that Kirby smart has had from being a Georgia football player to the Head coach of the same team has been remarkable, and for Mary Beth has been a supportive role.
Ever since Kirby became the head coach of Georgia Bulldogs in 2016 the pair has played a great part in building that team into a college football powerhouse with multiple championships and setting themselves as key players in the college football scene.
They also off the field close friends. Combined with the responsibilities of leadership of one of college football’s most storied franchises, the couple has built a solid family. They have three children: twins Weston and Julia and son Andrew.
