Alessandra Olivia Toreson is an American actress known professionally as Alessandra Torresani. The actress has been in show business for close to three decades. She has played various roles on television shows and films but is better known for portraying Claire in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

Early Life and Education

Alessandra Olivia Toreson had a great childhood, and she had fun. She was born on May 29, 1987, in Palo Alto, California, to James Sylvester Toreson and Marcia Glow. Her father was a tech expert, while her mother was a CEO in one of the tech companies. While growing up, Alessandra was passionate about art. She began singing and acting at 2. Upon realizing that their daughter was passionate about singing and acting, Alessandra’s parents enrolled her in a school where she could study acting and singing. Alessandra landed a few commercial roles, and by age 8, she was doing interviews on The WB Television Network.

Regarding her education, Alessandra began studying at a local school in Palo Alto. It is unclear if the actress proceeded to college after her high school education.

Alessandra does not often speak about her love life, but she is married to Sturgis Adams, an American actor and producer. Her husband is known for The Believer, Celebrated, and Naked As We Came.

Professional Life

Alessandra Olivia Toreson ventured into acting professionally at a young age. When she was nine, Alessandra hosted a kids’ show on KBWB. Soon after, she landed a role in the movie Going to the Mat. This early appearance set the pace for her acting career. She later appeared in other television shows and films, including Arrested Development, The War At Home, Bones, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Caprica.

In 2009, Alessandra lost a role to Scout Taylor-Compton. It was initially announced that Alessandra would play the role of Lita Ford in The Runaways, but Scout played the role.

Alessandra also appeared in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory, where she portrayed Claire, a bartender and aspiring screenwriter. She might have appeared in just five episodes, but this helped shape her acting career.
