Though overshadowed by his better-known brother John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dan Fogerty had a definite part in musical theatre and to American rock and roll. This is a real story of commitment to music, family values, and Rogue travels towards the art.
Early Life
Dan Fogerty was born in Berkeley California to parents of Irish descent in a middle-class family during the 1950s with a brother John. The musical education of the Fogerty household started when both brothers were young and they both have had good exposure to different genres, especially rock and roll, blues and country music.
They spent all their childhood with records and learning how to play different musical instruments. Indeed, Dan was older than John and could occasionally guide the latter in his music practice. Their home was their studio and they started to rehearse various works and styles that later would form the material for their album.
Living in the San Francisco Bay Area at this time both Fogerty brothers were immersed in a diverse selection of musical styles. The cultural variety of the area and the new rock movement sprouting later would help shape their sound and content selection.
Career
When Dan started playing the bass guitar for real was in late 1950s when he and John formed a group known as the Blue Velvets. This initial partnership would go on to turn into Creedence Clearwater Revival, although Dan was not actually an original member of it.
Still, he wanted to follow musical career and did not become well-known musician, but worked as the one behind the scenes experimenting with different positions in the sphere of music.
Dan Ward has been an independent musician, songwriter, and music producer, and has also composed music, though not as flamboyantly as his brother Mark. He has become a sought-after producer and an arranger because of his knowledge on music production, but he always like to operate behind the scene.
It has especially been valuable when it comes to Dan’s specialist area of music production; he has cultivated many fledgling artists and guided them through the often masquerade of the musically, business-related jungle.
Siblings: John Fogerty
The interaction between Dan and John Fogarty has been one of the important periods in their life careers and music careers. Although they went different ways, their factor of identification was passion for music all through the time.
John has said in the past on numerous occasions the Dan had a profound an impact on him in regard to his musical input during their scrawling years. The readers learn that, initially, both brothers worked together and many of their early experiences greatly influenced their perceptions of music and performing.
They also decided to follow different career paths within the business. As we have seen, Dan’s presence — and his often-uncredited role as a teacher during early years helped to shape John, arguably into one of the most recognizable vocalists in the entire genre of rock music.
