Early Life
Jill Arrington was born on 27 July 1972 in Conyers, Georgia. Her father Rick Arrington was once a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles therefore she was introduced to athletic fields early enough. This rather unusual upbringing contributed to her thinking and feeling about sports in the proper way from the very childhood.
Jill showed good academic capabilities as well as the growing passion towards athletics. The young and talented ladies attend Sprayberry High School academically and athletically. She started as a very sociable young woman, with excellent communicator and charming personality which was later to blossom in broadcasting.
After High school education, she goes to University of Miami where Arrington was enrolled in Broadcast Journalism degree program. She devoted much time to her college years focusing on her academics and engaging in media activity as a sports broadcaster.
Career
Jill Arrington started her broadcasting in the year 1999 and was one of the most celebrated broadcasters. Her big break came when she was hired at CBS Sports; she began as a sideline reporter for Southeastern Conference football.
Interviewing skills together with her passion and good knowledge of the game in question helped her gain the recognition of the viewers as well as fellow professionals. When working at CBS, Arrington was one of the few women that were very exposed to the public as sports reporters.
